There's nothing bad to say. The room was clean, the staff kind and helpful, and the location was terrific. The room was tiny... but European hotel rooms generally are. The breakfast was basic, but good. All in all, we had a good stay.

I stayed at Hotel Alane for 4 nights. It is a great location if you are arriving by train at Gare du Nord (10 minute walk), and is 3 minutes walk to metro station Gare de L'est, making it convenient to access public transportation. The staff at the reception desk are very friendly and helpful. I would skip the breakfast.
