    Fantastic location, pleasant staff , basic room but clean and had everything you would need. Can’t comment on food as didn’t eat in the restaurant. Very pleasant stay

    We really enjoyed the helpful staff at The Grand, and the location is excellent. Obviously the hotel is a bit tired, and a bit of a rabbit warren, but the rooms are a good size for London and the water stations on each floor were appreciated.

    I chose location for 2 nites becuz near West End theater where I had ticket. I don’t usually stay in areas w/ heavy visitor traffic but if u r new to London Trafalgar’s a great place to meet the grand old city! Stayed 2 more nites becuz fell & couldn’t walk on injured foot. I luv traveling solo but alone when injured is no one’s dream vacation. It’s hard to quantify how extraordinarily kind & supportive the staff was, not merely meeting my needs but anticipating them b4 I did. And Mr Nalin, u r my hero! I was in my room 60 hours straight & know it was very clean, bed comfortable, lots of outlets, & other thoughtful touches. And the AC responded to the very cold temp I prefer. And hallelujah-an ice machine & chilled filter water (& bottles) next to elevators! We Americans need our ice, ya know, but it’s usually a very rare commodity in the UK. I’ll stay there again - hopefully in healthier circumstances.
