One of the worst hotel stays. Multiple issues- bathroom dirty, sink wouldn't drain, bath wouldn't drain, smell of sewerage in the evening. Black mould multiple locations in bathroom, broken shower lever. On arrival missing TV remote control, and iron broken and leaking water when using. Badly designed room that wasn't functional- kitchenette waste of time as no cutlery supplied, and no coffee pods supplied for machine. Requested and never arrived. Bed pillows and bedding awful and overall the place felt dirty and unloved. The rooms are in need of a refurbishment starting with bathrooms. At *** per night it is appalling value.

Good things are the hotel itself is amazing. And the staff are incredible. I was lucky enough to receive a free upgrade! The downside however is the road noise, it's crazy. Every 30 mins there is some weirdo revving his stupid car on a very busy road next to the hotel. Additionally there's no air con despite what is advertised. The room was amazing but the sleep was not.

We just stayed for 1 night here and it felt like it was too long. I booked it specifically for the lovely design you see in the photos, and whilst it does look like the photos to an extent, when you are there in person you realise how superficially everything is done. How dirty, stained, and faulty most things are. Paint chipping everywhere, basically all the chairs, sofas and tables are stained, dust is collecting in many spots for at least weeks if not months. I don't blame the staff here. Their face seem to reflect the pain of having to work under extensive pain with insufficient resources. The kind of business that runs on a skeleton staffing model, where housekeeping attendants are expected to work miracles and be able to perfectly clean a room in under 25 minutes. The kind of management owned entirely by Private Equity where everyone and everything is a decimal on a balance sheet, with the sole aim of delivering value to their shareholders by increasingly desperate measures of cutting costs and corners. The studio we stayed in is actually the highest category, easily going for £250/night most of the season. Whilst it did look pretty and unique at first glance, you quickly start noticing weird quirks, insufficiencies, impractical layouts and lack of crucial fittings. I don't have time to dissect and provide a detailed breakdown of the many things which could be improved but if I'd have to choose the two most important ones: 1. uncomfortable bed, small in size (150cm wide King Size) with seriously uncomfortable pillows 2. terrible Air Conditioning: it was stuck on heat mode and it was 26 degrees outside. Pair this with the location in the Loft/Roof, and you can imagine the sauna. The staff said they can't switch the mode from Hot to Cold as it is only done centrally. And you can't keep the window open because the street noise with constant sirens will drive you nuts. And you have to be nuts to want to come back and stay here again. One last note: they only have a Security Staff member during the night so they can't help much (not their fault). For a property with 120 studios, that's just unacceptable. A really terribly executed idea of a Serviced Apartments Property with skin-deep beauty and an only purpose of maximising profits at the expense of everything else.

You will see a pile of dust which seems to have been neglected for years at every corner of your room - especially in a small cranny next to your bed, and on the headboard/sofa. You will also see a moldy bathtub with a bad drain. I think a 4-star hotel can't afford this.
