    Schwan Locke is an excellent hotel. First, it is conveniently located within walking distance of Munich Central Station (Munich Hbf). The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I arrived at the hotel early because of my morning flight to Munich. The staff kindly allowed me to store my luggage in the luggage room, which let me go outside to have lunch nearby more conveniently before check-in. As the weather was very hot during my stay, I asked whether an early check-in would be possible. Fortunately, I was allowed to check in at around 2:30 p.m., which I greatly appreciated. The staff were also very helpful in providing information about the location of the nearest supermarket. I booked a studio room. Although it was not particularly large, it was well-equipped and included a dishwasher. There was also a laundry room in the basement, which was very convenient for longer stays. In addition, any enquiries about the hotel could be answered quickly via WhatsApp. I especially liked the balcony in the room, which allowed me to enjoy my breakfast outdoors each morning. The room was comfortable, well designed, and maintained to a high standard. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to travellers. Every aspect of my stay was excellent, and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Munich.

    The location is not as convenient as expected. The tram stop is not particularly close, and it is quite a walk to the nearest Metro station. Another drawback is the hotel entrance, where you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to reach the lobby. This can be challenging for guests with heavy bags or those with mobility difficulties. The surrounding neighbourhood also appears to have a strong Middle Eastern character, with many Middle Eastern shops and eateries in the area. Room has no aircon system, requested for a fan in a heatwave season.
