The grounds are beautiful and the pool is warm and nicely maintained. However, this is Costa Rica and you need to be aware of a few things....There will be bugs. In fact the property makes you sign a release stating you will not hold them liable for bug bites. Our room was acceptable clean (floor mopped, beds made, etc) but the sheets were stained, the bathroom and bedroom mirrors were smeared, there was sand on the floor and there were a few spiders and ants.

We had a very good experience with our stay. The only thing is that in room number three we had no hot water initially. We found our own hack and we figured out that when we open the sink water running there is suddenly hot water in the shower. Lol the staff is very friendly and very helpful, the food is excellent in their restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our little bungalow. The street in front of the hotel is very busy, but the cabins are all very quiet. We had plenty of room for us and our 2 kids. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms.
We enjoyed the pool one afternoon, and having breakfast onsite was very easy & convienent.
Staff was super helpful and lovely.
Not lots of amenities, but a great simple base to explore La Fortuna's adventures.
