The staff at Phaea Blue and the location are what made our trip so pleasurable. The resort feels like a village on the hillside. The area is quiet and the village of Plaka is close by and walkable. We ate their each night and the food in Plaka is superb! We booked a Luxury Bungalow with pool and sea view which was delightful and lovely after a hot day on the beach. Will return.

Absolutely stunning and perfect luxury hotel. Has everything you need, the facilities and space look and feel great. Staff is second to none and food was terrific. The highlight is the private beach and perfect view of Spinalonga.

Phāea Blue exceeded every expectation and is, without a doubt, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had.
The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of Spinalonga and the crystal-clear waters of the Cretan Sea. The hotel is elegant, peaceful, and luxurious while still feeling warm, authentic, and deeply connected to Crete.
What truly sets Phāea Blue apart is its people. Every member of the staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always one step ahead. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The service is simply world-class—professional, personal, and effortlessly genuine.
The food was outstanding throughout our stay, showcasing excellent local ingredients and exceptional quality. Every meal was a highlight.
