Beautiful view, facilities and great value for money. Everything was clean and comfortable in the room. The staff are amazing and super friendly and helpful.

The pool area is a bit too quiet, some music can make a great difference. Also there should be an outside bar so you can use it while in the pool or sunbeds. Also, the restaurants are almost always fully booked in advance so you don’t get to try them and they’re very good

We were very impressed with the hotel. The cool living area in particular was great. You get great views and the surroundings are very pretty with lots of wild flowers. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and patient, going above and beyond to help us get our preferred dinner reservations. Its a quiet and peaceful resort, its not close to a town but we much preferred this. There are grab and go fridges where you can help yourself to cold drinks which was really handy. . The Meze lunch was amazing, Greco Levande dinners were very high standard, and both buffets always had a great selection. We hired a car from Heraklion airport and it took us about an hour 15 to get to the hotel, we would recommend this because we heard bus transfers can take up to 3 hours. Parking is a bit limited at the hotel but the staff took care of parking for us which was great. We didn't mind the steep walks up and down, occasionally catching the shuttles/buggies if they passed us.

It appeared that the cool living area is not monitored, so people who have not paid are able to access the pool and buffet. This was slightly annoying on the days where there were no free sunbeds. Some of the cocktails were pre-made so don't taste quite as nice. We found the Asian restaurant was a bit disappointing (as it was positioned as 'high concept'). There were lots of bugs in our private pool but they did clean it on request. You cant turn off the pool lights - and they are bright - meaning at night lots of light comes into the room because the curtains do not fully shut.

The staff are the best thing about this resort. First class across the board and really want to provide a good service. Greco Levante restaurant good. Others average.

Very steep site so need a shuttle up and down. Albeit they were very frequent in fairness. Design of resort not great as balconies all seem to face north and get no sun meaning private balcony pools you pay for are not really useable. Very windy location it seems. In 10 days we had 2 where it was not really windy. Which apparently is not unusual in this area.
