Staff was great. Room had some issues: DVD player and microwave did not work. The managers need to make sure condo is ready for guests with all items working. Also, instructions for DVD and heater would be helpful.

My favorite place to stay on the Oregon coast! Beautiful spotless apartments right in the bay, stunning views. Fire place, w/d, full kitchen, quiet, small but workable gym. Free and safe parking. Close to my favorite restaurant on the coast : Local Ocean Restaurant

The suite was well appointed and the kitchen had everything required for preparing meals. It had comfortable chairs and a glass door and balcony to look out on the marina. Check-in was fast and the staff were friendly.

Got a two bedroom, which was very nice, a place I could be comfortable staying a while. It had full size bunk beds in one room, a king bed in the other with a powder room, and I believe the sofa was a pullout. Lots of towels, everything we needed, very nice clean kitchen, I could go on. Wanda at the front desk was awesome. It was clean everywhere and very pretty with flowers, etc. Parking was plentiful and easy, short walk to the bay front. We couldn’t hear anything from the sea lions this far, and this is August 3-5. Loved it, would return!

Newport is so special and The Landing is a great spot to stay. The best part is the balcony, view, quiet bedroom and having kitchen to make simple breakfast or lunch. Abundant dinner option and fish lovers paradise!

I've visited the Landing at Newport several times a year for a lot of years. Pluses: The people that run the place are super nice and helpful. The units are in good shape and offer full kitchens, nice beds, nice sofa, and amenities like clothes washer, dish washer etc. They've also upgraded the wifi so that it's now actually very good. It's in a good location, with views of a little inlet with boats, sea guls, and sounds of sea lions. And its only a short walk to a touristy boardwalk area with dining, shopts, bars etc. Cons: The tv sets are ancient, with the worst tv offerings imaginable. Even worse than "basic cable". The elevator is almost always out of service, so expect to lug your luggage up flights of stairs to your room. The parking situation is confusing and becomes a problem on busy summer weekends when the place fills up. There is neither AC nor heating (aside from the gas fireplace). For most of the year that's fine, except on hot summer days and cold winter days.

We stayed at The Landing to watch the Christmas Lights boat parade in the Bay. It had a great view. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants, including the infamous sea lion docks! Our room was clean and comfortable with a kitchen that was lovely to have for take out!

What an amazing place to stay. Located right on the harbor. Had an awesome balcony which was great to have coffee on in the morning. Everything you need, washer, dryer, and an additional half bath! Wanda at the desk was amazing. Super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. If we are ever back in Newport, this will be our go to place.

My husband and I wanted something quiet for a weekend away, and this was perfect! Walking distance to a bunch of little cafes and restaurants, but just far enough away to be very quiet. The room was a whole little condo/apartment and gave us the option to make breakfast in our pjs and not leave the room, or to go out and enjoy a walk or drive very close by.

The condo was very nice but the owner definitely needs to replace the bed and the lack of air conditioning is a problem especially in warmer weather.
