Crab Cottage in Nye Beach

The property was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with essential items. The location was prime for shopping and visiting the beach. With only being 2 short blocks from the beach, it felt quite accessible to travel by foot. The neighborhood felt safe and it was quiet, for the most part.

The towels were a bit dated and overused. Would recommend some new ones and adding screens to windows to prevent bugs from coming inside. The bed was too hard and the pillows so flat that it made sleeping difficult. Despite these items, I would visit again, but bring my own linens.

I like how close it was to the beach. You could see the ocean from the kitchen window. Close to food and shops.

It was not as clean as I expected. The blinds and baseboards were covered in dust as if they hadn’t been cleaned for months. The pictures in the living room were also dusty. I actually cleaned them and the blinds in the living room because I have really bad asthma. There was sand on the floor and a stain on the mattress cover. There were also ants in the kitchen and in the bedroom and I had to buy Raid and ant baits. It would be nice if the couch was regular size and a coffee table was provided.

Great house in a great location.

It was pretty hot inside the house even with the heat off . It was not the fault of the rental just warm weather. In the future I would bring a fan.
