Nice clean room in a nostalgic unique building. Walking distance to the Strand train station for boarding the Great Northern Explorer.
The halways are a bit noisy when people moving about, but for most part fairly quiet

It is a big wow when we entered the building! A sense of history! The lady at reception is very kind. Room is tidy, aircon is powerful and quiet. 5 stars for the value! Recommend to anyone who needs to catch an early train departs Auckland Strand.

This hotel is in a historic train station…. It’s a very cool stay in the building and has a dedicated cooking area that is massive! The only downside was the water pressure
