We recently stayed at a Spark by Hilton. This was a new hotel brand for us but felt that the name Hilton gave it a stellar reputation. What a disappointment. As we opened the curtains we discovered black mold all across the bottom of the window. Also there was black mold on the shelf in the bathroom. We reported the problem to the front desk and their response was that they would tell management. There was no contact from any employee or managment. This is my first review with Hotels.com and my last stay at a Spark property.

Sparks was amazing, I mean they treated & tended us very great, From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out. Being there for just one night it felt comfortable very quiet which we liked. Overall great place to unwind and relax.

There was a dirty sock and a LONG black hair in our beds. This was a sleeping only situation coming back from my mother in laws funeral. It was late and we had a very early flight. The pool are was closed for maintenance, there was no food anywhere near other than the lobby snacks which are ridiculously priced! My 83 year old mother ate a microwaved frozen personal pizza, she ate the cheese and threw it away. Would not stay here again, staff was very polite and kind. Cleaning crew need to up their game the both rooms were filthy!

We stayed here for the price. You get what you pay for. Our room smelled like a locker room. The hall smelled like weed. When I went down for breakfast, there was a man walking around with bare feet which were full of fungus (lost my appetite). The outdoor pool area was nice and well maintained and the staff was nice as well.

There seemed to be a large group of families there for maybe a softball tournament. Each night, they had camper chairs in the front of the hotel and were extremely noisy. I was in room 108 which is right next to the lobby. At first, the thought of ease in accessibility had me happy, but both nights ended up being very hard to sleep through because I could hear all of the socializing outside the room in the lobby as if there was no soundproofing.

We love Spark Hotels. We’re hardly in the room when we travel and this is perfect. Staff is always pleasant and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is minimal. This is a small thing but it would be good to have the hard boiled eggs peeled instead of just in the shell.

Great location, several big name stores and restaurants within 5 miles or less. If you are looking for a basic hotel, reasonable price, clean and quiet for sleeping, this fits the bill. Not a luxury hotel. Remodel is nice but i didnt like laundry scent on sheets/pillows.

Room 221 has black mold in the shower and sheets were not clean they had hairs on them. The hotel manager Larry Kittinger is avoiding me because they do not want to compensate me for the filthy room I was in

We had a very nice stay at Spark by Hilton. We had two issues and the front desk employee addressed the problems immediately. The staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were very comfortable and had very nice sheets, and the room was very clean. We did not use the pool but it looked very inviting.
