    It locates very close to Omiya Stn, which has a directly accessible by Hankyu Kyoto line from Osaka (430yen only). A bit away from the busy Karasuma area but easily accessible by train / bus / walk. Small public bath but good as a bonus.

    The plus points about this hotel are the location (super near 3 stations, subway, bus, and tram) and the room size which was quite spacious. They provide an air purifier/humidifier in the room. There is free water and coffee provided in the lobby, as well as a coin laundry and vending machine available. The hotel provides luggage storage but not delivery service. Cleanliness was okay, a little dusty in some parts of the room and the toilet had a bit of a damp smell but nothing too major. The bed was too hard for me and they only provided one pillow each. There were not enough hangers in the room and toilet for our clothes and towels. As per many previous reviews, yes the onsen is still closed for renovations, unsure when it will reopen. I had seen the numerous reviews about the poor staff attitude so I was somewhat prepared, but I was quite disappointed in the staff attitude and inability to converse in English. Basic English is ok but we had a communication breakdown when trying to discuss something with them and ended up turning to google translate. They also would not borrow us their phone even though we needed to use it to call our next hotel. We ended up having to use a public phone to call. Overall I would say it's a below average experience, maybe consider booking another hotel nearby instead of this one.
