the room was run down and the outside landscape in the back was neglected with dog poop. The guest staying on long term was the less desirables. The host seem to be the only one at the front desk. I will never stay again.

Room flooded from bathroom ceiling vent while we were at dinner. Got all are luggage wet. Put us in another room. Tv did not work and i killed over twenty flies in the room. Saked for a manager and the just gave us all buisness card to call. Tried calling, got their corporate line. Tried to getto get our room reimbursed but

The good: Updated room furnishings with plenty of charging ports, comfortable bed, big flatscreen TV, no bugs, ample parking and hot breakfast. The bad: The filthy floor in the room was so bad we only wore shoes, walls and mouldings worn/chipped, missing lampshade on desk light, no towels in room upon check in and were then just given bath and hand towels, no wash cloths or a bath mat, no maid service over the three night stay, ran out of toilet paper almost immediately, dirty stairwells and trash left in common areas. Had it not been for the hot breakfast, I would have regretted staying here. If you're expecting a beachfront property, this is not that. The hotel is located near the entrance to a state park and the beach is within walking distance but it's a trek. My main complaint is that this property is poorly maintained and I'm surprised to see the Radisson brand affiliated with it. I would not choose to stay here again, especially with nicer properties in the same price range located closer to downtown Monterey.

Dirty walls in the room; dirty areas throughout the place; no smoke detector (only wires hanging out); body wash ran out the following day and when asked for more from the front desk, i got two hand soap bars; old body bath towels, no hand and/or face towels. When i asked for hand towels i was told, after the front desk guy walked around his areas for 5 mins, "ill bring them to you. 3 days later, nothing; old AC/heater system-not automatic; ONE trash can in the whole unit; miscellaneous itemsthroughout the hotel; laundryroom was a store and was out of service; one of the beds was against the wall with no space; the last 24 hours there was no hot water while the weather was in the 40°. No need for me to ask to be moved to another room-to other issues.

I understand to expect low when booking cheaper hotels and some inconveniences like pool not functional, ongoing work at property are more tolerable issues in cheaper hotels but within 30 seconds of checking in process, I heard 2 families coming in reporting that A/C was not working, bathtub was not cleaned from previous stay etc...our room sure enough had issues...no water in bathroom..these are basic necessities and hotel license should be cancelled based on these issues

Very dirty room all around. Tub had shampoo lid in drain. No one had clearly turned the water on after guest left so no one washed the bathroom. The toilet had iron stains on the back or seat and lid. The remote had no back part to batteries and I could not turn the tv on.

The room was so small I couldn’t do yoga. We could barely walk between the bed and walls. There wasn’t an overhead light. Just one lamp on the bed side table. The other lamp on the desk was without a bulb. Although the rooms appears to recently have been updated - trim was missing on the door, something was wrong with the trim in the bathroom, the shower was almost impossble to turn on , there was one towel, when we asked at the front desk we did get another one, but it was obvious we had interrupted his doom scrolling. bathroom. Cockroaches, ants, dirty shower that barely worked. No smoke detector or hair dryer. Burns on the blankets. Their claim of a full breakfast is too generous. I think this is the worst hotel I’ve visited. I also noticed some structural beams completely rotted out, and the pool was drained.

I checked in and the young lady at the front desk could not check me in because she was on her lunch so i left and came back and got checked in to a room that did not have working tv, the screen for the window did not want to go down and the room was dirty, i went back and she gave me another room and it was worse smelt like cigarette smoke, dirty, no tv and it was just giving hotel ghost hell town i am a regular here and was just surprised to find the hotel wasnt cleaned properly at my stay that time. :(

The room was lacking maintenance and the room had pet hair and dirt everywhere. I had been on the road for 15 hours and just needed a clean shower and room to rest and the guests were loud and a bunch of construction workers laughing and drinking in the parking lot. I didn’t feel safe with all the chaos. The breakfast was coffee.

This hotel was . . . not good. To be fair, we just needed a place to stay before going to the aquarium in the morning and it did its job. But- nearly everything was broken or falling apart. The towel bar was coming out of the wall, the shampoo dispenser in the shower had been ripped out the wall, mold in the shower, shower curtain didn't work, sheets were not exactly what you'd call clean. The people in the adjoining room were up and doing something loud (putting together furniture? idk. there were power tools involved) until nearly 3 am. One bed was too soft and the other too hard. They have free breakfast but found the place not clean enough to want to eat there and found a diner instead. Honestly, we just had to laugh because it was so bad. Kids liked the little soap bottles though so there's that.

Don’t stay here if you have kids. Great location, but you’ll hear everything from other people in other rooms. The floors are so dirty here kids feet were black from walking inside the room, also you’ll get the smell of mildew the minute you walk in the room. Owners need to upgrade this great location motel. Lots of potential.

Single worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Dirty. Lights didn’t work. AC didn’t work. Bathroom walls covered in mold. Smoke detector missing. Huge gap in doorway, no weatherproofing, huge draft came in, kids got sick and developed pneumonia
