I normally stay in another hotel from the Duke's collection. Was very unpleasantly surprised how this hotel is a 5-star with a 2-star attitude. Cleaners banging repeatedly at the door at 11:20 to remind you the checkout time is 11:00, and the phone rang as I was exiting -- probably Reception, too. The A/C issue was pretty bad as the fan remote is locked at the strongest and loudest all the time and the personnel gave me a nebulous report that they couldn't unlock it either, but "everything in the hotel stops at 22:00 so it will be fine". It wasn't, of course. A rather sleepless night. When checking out they offered to wave my parking fee, and when I said I parked elsewhere, there was no other offer. Very, very disappointed.

Beautiful property! Stayed late July with my 2 younger kids and spouse. We all LOVED the property and our rooms (we booked 2 rooms in the new annex). The food was outstanding and the staff is warm and went above and beyond. Dukes’ was a major highlight of our trip.

The hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a bath and a shower in the room. The shower was very nice - the cubicle itself was a bit small but overall the room had everything you need. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Bruges. We were able to charge the car in the underground car park of the hotel which was a big perk for us. I would say it can be a bit tricky to find the hotel. We arrived in the early hours of the morning due to a delayed ferry, and it was quite hard to find the reception and the underground car park. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay when in Bruges. We cannot fault the rooms, the location or the staff, everything was fantastic!

Wonderful and very tastefully decorated room with period furniture. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at main reception. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Overall a very pleasant stay, will be back again in the future.

First time in Bruge staying at the Dukes Palace Residence. The poor signage made it difficult to check in because we did not know to check in at Dukes Palace main area. The staff person was unapologetic about this and did not advise us of the hotel amenities. We found out by touring the grounds

Dukes Palace is a beautiful hotel, we recieved a a lovely, friendly welcome, assistance with luggage and were shown to our very classy and comfortable room. Breakfast was fabulous, again, a warm and friendly welcome from staff, a very wide delicious range of foods and drinks available. The location is amazing, so tucked away but right on the doorstep of the shopping district. Parking was a bit tricky to get to on a Saturday afternoon due to all the pedestrians but we managed it, and it was safe and secure. Cocktails in the chic hotel bar after a days sightseeing was the perfect end to a perfect day in beautiful Bruges. We will be back x

Hotel stay was wonderful! The staff were excellently trained and the facilities were immaculate. I stayed in the "Residence" section which was a few steps away from the main hotel. The Residence section is not "manned" but the main hotel front desk was only a 1 min walk away. I for one enjoyed staying in the more secluded, peaceful and quiet Residence section. The beauty about this property was that despite being only steps away from the main city center (food and shopping) in Bruges, you felt like you were in a small palace on the Belgium countryside. The main hotel really looks and feels like a palace and the ambience was indeed palatial. I was especially impressed with the courtyard garden in the back of the hotel, where I spent many hours reading and soaking up the serene and well manicured environs. The one negative comment about the hotel was the foul smell that seems to sporadically effuse from the vent in my room. Everything else however was immaculate.

I was astonished, that the hotel does not have a swimming pool, the wellness area is quiet small and its not easy to find, because there are no signs near the reception. Breakfast is very good.We were very contempt with the rooms in the residence. All people were very friendly and polite.
