Stayed 2 nights. Was at Carson Park for men's fastpitch softball tournament. Clean room. Quiet area.

Listed as having an open pool doesn't advertise is totally closed. Booked a week for the kids and it was a busy. The lady at the front counter "the wife" yelled at my 2 yr old for talking and laughing and when told not to speak to my child she said "oh it's ok it's ok" NOT OK. hallways smell of something nasty, never vacuumed the halls or the rooms, wrappers and roach papers on the hallway floor from other guests. Dirty and not worth the bad attitude from staff.

I was on my way to Eau Claire from Minneapolis and saw the Days Inn sign from the highway. So I stopped to see about an early check-in. There was lots of rooms available and they agreed to give me one for an extra charge of $5.
I was tired so agreed to the extra charge. This would have been fine had the room been up to a basic standard. Peeling paint in the shower, lose tiles in the bathroom and musty odor in the living room.
If management spent more time improving their rooms and less irritating their customers I think they would do much better.
Needless to say, I will be staying elsewhere during my next visit
