Had a fabulous room overlooking Fountain Square. Bedding was like sleeping on clouds. Love the close proximity to restaurants and stadiums.

When entering the address into Google Maps, it directs guests to the East 5th Street entrance. This should be updated to route visitors to the Vine Street entrance, as that is where the parking garage entrance is located. Once inside the building, there is no signage directing guests to proceed to the second floor for check-in. The first floor—particularly the lobby—had a noticeable presence of homeless individuals. While there were no negative interactions, it does impact the overall perception of safety and cleanliness. After check-in, the key card system was somewhat confusing to operate; several other guests mentioned experiencing the same issue. The elevators require a key card and only allow access to the assigned floor, which appears to be a security measure to prevent unauthorized access to guest areas. Upon entering the room, it was clean, though it was evident that the room is dated. There was a previously patched hole in the wall that was poorly repaired, and the caulking around the sink was cracking and no longer providing a proper water seal. At checkout, my wife pulled back the sheets to assist housekeeping and noticed a large red stain—possibly wine—on the mattress. Overall, I would stay here again. However, there are several areas that could use improvement, including adding security personnel, installing clear signage to welcome guests and direct them to the front desk, and beginning a phased renovation plan, such as remodeling one floor per year.

We came for a one night stay to celebrate my birthday. The staff was extremely gracious, providing us with an upgrade to a suite overlooking Fountain Square, and a sumptuous free breakfast at the associated restaurant Ingredients. The room was clean and spotless. Hot water came almost immediately, and the thermostat actually worked. We will return for other special memories.

Very dated and for a luxury hotel it just missed the mark. The main issue is the in room thermostat- it doesn’t do anything! No ac - just can adjust it a few degrees. Awfullllll, no air flow at all and it just smells stale in here when we checked in.

The Westin is conveniently located in downtown Cincinnati. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Check in was easy. Frances was a pleasure to work with. She was excited about our trip and gave very helpful information salt the hotel and area. The room was standard but roomy. The restaurant Ingredients offered plenty of breakfast options.

We valet parked, the check in is on the 2nd floor. There are no signs to tell you that. My wife and i, needed to use the restroom, but you need a room key to access them. How are you supposed to do that, if you haven't checked yet, because you cant find the check in. Also, you cant access the elevators without a room key. So good luck, taking your cart up the escalator.

I liked that it was downtown so we got to walk and explore a lot of places. The staff were excellent. We didn’t eat anything at the hotel due to having a lot of other options around us. Didn’t like that it’s no free breakfast while you’re staying there. The room could have smelled a little better so housekeeping could have did a lot better. But overall I loved the room and the view we had.
