Cute, cozy & convenient stay in Westport

The location was really close to the downtown area and the entrance to the Park. We felt like it was private enough but so very close to town, that we just had to go around the block to the coffee shop, restaurants and shops. We loved being able to just walk down the path to Westport House, too, without having to drive or find a place to park. We brought our mothers with and they liked each having their own bedroom. They found the townhouse to be cute and cozy, and liked that we had a place to relax together after touring the surrounding areas. We liked that we could make coffee & tea in the townhouse, and had a small fridge for snacks, and real wine glasses, so we enjoyed a glass of wine in the townhouse together! Again, the location was outstanding, and our group loved the convenience of it in relation to the adorable town. Our crew also enjoyed the layout of the living room area & the couch, we were able to relax and watch a movie together, comfortably on the couch after one of our long days. Regarding the question about collecting the property keys: The lockbox was located right in the doorframe and was easy to get the keys. The hosts sent me the code early enough in the day so that I had the information before we got on the road and didn't have cell service, so I was prepared when we arrived.

There's not much that we "didn't" like. But if I were to come up with something, I'd say having a single shower. We just had to wait for each other to shower, but really wasn't that bad or unusual. We had 4 people, so we just needed to plan who could shower when. The rooms were small (again, that was expected), so it was a little cramped with our luggage and figuring out where to put our clothing. We found that most places were smallish while on our vacation, so it wasn't bad, just not awesome. Otherwise, I thought the townhouse had everything we needed. Regarding the question about collecting the property keys: Figuring out 'which door' was not as easy as I expected because the doors in the row of houses did not appear to have numbers. Maybe a photo with the door circled, listing the color of the door, or some other indicator on the door would help to identify the correct door more quickly. Ultimately, and it's rather obvious when I type it in here, it was the only door with a lockbox, but I also didn't like peering too closely at every door in case the people inside were wondering what I was looking for on their door.

Great location, modern house.

Lovely townhouse in the centre of Westport, newly renovated and nice decor. Location just beside the pedestrian entrance to Westport House and surrounding park. Small living space but very clean and comfortable.

It was a bit on the small side but wasn't an issue for us since we were out and about during the day.

The location is fantastic! Very private with the most amazing views of the marina to the front and rear and then across the sea. Also the underground parking was a great benefit too. Very close to the bars and restaurants but far enough away so no noise issues

Lovely property, great location

Excellent location, quiet, clean, good quality linen, towels and furnishings, regarding parking, suggest parking car on St Peter Street, just at the top of the bank (notthe main road through town), can park all day for 3 euros, pay and display, no need for apps

One small gripe, no cafetière, I also thought it was expensive, but acknowledge was in peak season

Location, design,quality, very comfortable beds, very good shower. It's really a super renovation.Good communication.

Very noisy disruptive delivery trucks, unloading outside our bedroom window at 6.50am. Selection and quantity of utensils could be improved. Towel holder needed in downstairs bathroom. No bedside lamps in any of the bedrooms, only very bright spotlights in the ceilings. States a washing machine is included. Maybe, but we couldn't locate it. Also,description states parking is included. This is not the case. On street fees have to be paid, but the bigger issue is that one's car needs to be moved after 2 hours. This is problematic and can be disruptive to any daily activity plans.

Very pleasant stay in the heart of Westport

The house is small but beautifully converted, careful thought went into all aspect of design and material selection.

The kitchen utensils are lacking, no measuring cups, no serving spoons, no wash up brush etc . The parking facility is a bit of an issue, not the hosts fault, but needed to find coins to use the public park by the cinema
