We couldn't book in until the bar opened at 4pm and we were on the top floor everytime someone closed the front door our room door rattled.

Nothing fancy, but great location at a low budget

The location is perfect and we could find parking easily across the street and was only 3€ a day.

The room overall was a little damp and we couldn’t leave the windows open because it was too loud at night and we were on the ground floor so it wouldn’t have been secure.

Great location in the centre of Westport, friendly welcome, large room and comfortable bed.

The room and especially the ensuite needed updating. The velux window blinds were broken and needed either repairing or replacing. The shower did work but the shower head was ancient with brittle cracked plastic. The washbasin taps had to be pressed very hard for just a few seconds of water each time which made washing difficult. The room downstairs where you could make tea and coffee etc was a good idea but it appeared neglected, dimly lit and uninviting. For the amount we paid there was far too much that would have benefited from repairing and or replacing. The place felt uncared for, a shadow of the something better it had once been.

Very comfortable place and in walking distance to any part of town. Lovely living room with tea/coffee facilities and a great super valu only across the road to grab a sandwich.

It was disappointing. Of the places we stayed in Ireland, I would rate this the lowest.

The location was great, being close to the downtown area and a park commonly used for walking and riding. Also, the pub to which the lodging was attached was a great place to have a drink or listen to music, although it offered no food.

There was a TV on the wall that must be the smallest sized TV ever made ... it looked almost comical being against this large wall. That was not a particularly big deal as we did not watch much TV; other things were more problematic. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The shower was horrible. We tried setting a temperature, but instead it cycled from scalding hot to freezing cold, and the only time you could actually be under the water was when it was moving between one of these two extremes. There was a common area where you could get water for coffee and tea; the water came out brown, which either was rust or other contaminants.

THE LOCATION. THE ROOMS ARE VERY BASIC BUT COMFORTABLE. THE ROOMS DO NEED UPDATED AND ATTENTION

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE ACCOMMODATION DID NOT HAVE TEA/COFFEE FACILTY IN THE BEDROOM. WE WERE SHOWN A COMMON ROOM WHICH HAD A FRIDGE/TOASTER/HOT WATER OUTLET FOR APPARENTLY MAKING TEA OR COFFEE. WHEN YOU RUN THE HOT WATER FROM THE BOILER, THE WATER WAS BLACK/GREY. NOT SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO DRINK. IM NOT SURE IF THEY HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THIS PRIOR, BUT WHEN WE AND OTHER GUESSES WENT TO AVAIL OF THE HOT WATER, IT WAS CLEAR THAT THIS WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR CONSUMTPTION. OUR ROOM ONLY HAD 1 WORKING BEDSIDE LIGHT. THERE WAS 2 IN THE ROOM BUT ONLY 1 PLUG AVAILABLE. THE WATER FROM BOTH TAPS IN THE BATHROOM SINK ONLY HAD A DRIBBLE OF WATER RUNNING FROM THEM. THEY HAVE A DINNING ROOM WHERE I ASSUME THAT THEY MAY HAVE OFFERED BREAKFAST/DINNER PREVIOUSLY. ITS A PITY THAT THIS FACILITY IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

The accommodation was situated in a convenient location - we like how it was right ahead of the entrance to Westport House estate. The room was clean and comfortable too. The bed was easy to sleep in and the shower had plenty of hot water. Moreover, the staff at the bar were very friendly and approachable.

No issues and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room facing the road and the noise of traffic woke us up early in the morning but this isn't the establishment's fault and it really wasn't an issue because the road wasn't too busy usually.

Good quality for the price, ideal situation near the center of Westport.

Good quality for the price, the room was clean and spacious, and the hosts were nice. The house is really well located, near all accomodations, and if you get the chance, go drink a beer and listen to the musicians in the bar, that was awesome.

There was a small leak on the toilet of our room, and it was quite noisy even late at night (door slamming, floors above cracking).
