Whatever money you think your saving, you’d happily pay to stay elsewhere once you see the room.

For accommodation this poor you’d think they would at least invest in a decent bed. The tiny box room had a bed, a lamp and a table. The matress had broken springs and I barely slept at all.

One night stay with BFF

Perfect location in the heart of Westport. We arrived very late at night and Cahil was available over the phone when he had some confusion about room entry. Thank you! Spacious room and hot shower. No frills but didn’t bother us. Would stay again! Amazing live music in town every night! Had a gorgeous dinner at The West, as usual!

Location was great.

Room was like a prison cell. All white, no pictures on the wall, no mirrors, no hooks in bathroom to hang towels. Only 1 X double socket. Tiny room. 1 small window that overlooked the back of a building.

Preferable to sleeping in the street, but maybe not to sleeping on a beach.

The location of the property is adequate in terms of finding it and the bedlinen and towels were clean.

Very noisy neighborhood which made it difficult to sleep - there was a late night argument from an adjoining room at one point, and evidently some sort of slumber party or possibly student shindig happening in the next building which went on into the early hours of the morning. Cooking smells in the block made it impossible to open the window for fresh air well past midnight and the toilet in the ensuite is in need of a deep clean.

Location is so central, perfect for exploring Westport's pubs & restaurants.

Room a bit tired and window did not fully close. But Owner responded to query immediately, even on a Sunday night, which was much appreciated.

Great location although the poor sleep and bad shower left us wanting.

The location of the property was very good and access to the building was easy.

Starting with the bed in room 2, part of the mattress was collapsed so not a good night's sleep as a result. The room is entirely bare of decoration without even a mirror (the bathroom mirror doesn't count). The window is damaged and doesn't fully seal. The bathroom is very dated and lacked basic amenities, such as a hand towel hook. The water from the shower was too hot with no way of cooling it so essentially unuseable. I think with the cost of the property (152 a night) with these issues made the stay feel like it was not worth it.

When the sun came up the next morning we ran out of the dump. Greedy greedy landlord you should bow your head in shame to expect people to have to endure a night in that hell hole or should I say squalor

The disgusting smell in the whole place.. no fan in the room at 27 degrees ….No pictures on the walls No air conditioning …No curtains on windows No kettle No tv No radio No toiletries No fridge No water to drink ….could only open one window in bathroom x2 inches… other windows nailed shut…filthy carpet…. No sockets by bed ..No bedside lockers.. Both beds about 70 yrs old… disgraceful and embarrassing to admit I’m Irish to see other Irish renting this building out to tourists… whoever owns this building should be absolutely mortified and held accountable for being sssoooooo greedy… I hope you enjoy all your money !!!!!

Very good location. The owner was very responsive and helpful in addressing a problem with the numpad. They provide a fan in the room which was really helpful to sleep given the warm temperature inside.

Uncomfortable beds. In need of refurbishment Bathroom radiator on full blast, soooo hot, unable.to switch it off. Very noisy outside, double glazing would be a good idea. Strong air freshener on stairs was very sickly. Description states complimentary toiletries provided, slight exaggeration, hand soap and awful smelling hair and body wash. Access instructions refer to a red door....the front door is now black..

The location was good

Main front door handle kept falling off, toilet seats loose, no exhaust fans or shower curtain. No amenities (tea,coffee making facilities, glasses), only one pillow per bed. Email with check in details only came the day before.

Breakfast was not included -- a light breakfast could have been included in the price.

Code for door was suppose to be same for the room -- but wasn't. No radio or television in the room. Access code for WIFI was incorrect on your site and code was not advised by the owner in their communication. Apart from an Assembly Point notice on the back of the front door, I did not see any other fire safety information or exit direction signs. The noise from air con units on adjacent roofs was excessive and there was no way to reach the window to close it.

Where you gonna sleep tonight

The location was exceptional and the room was clean. We booked a 10 bed dorm that fit my whole group and there was only 1 toilet for 10 of us but at least the shower was in a separate room.

They had the central heating on in July. We were a group celebrating my 40th so as you can imagine, the heating was not necessary. We asked for this to be turned off and were told this wasn’t possible.
