Everything inside was perfect.

It advertises having parking but there is no parking specific to the b and b. Its very hard to get parked nearby. We circled the area twice looking for available space. Its a public road not private parking as advertised.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Elvis, the little bird, was a lovely addition We booked the room for two adults, and at the last minute, our daughter wanted to join us, and they were very accommodating to this request There is a lovely tea and coffee lounge

One Night was enough!

The location was ideal. Clooneen has beautiful floral displays on the front of the building which are very attractive. We received a warm welcome from a very helpful member of staff on the Sunday afternoon.

The accommodation is ok but dated and a bit tired. The walk in shower had a fixed head so no hand held shower. The water pressure was very low in the morning. A double bed sleeping two people requires a king sized bedclothes to cover two people. We were offered a full Irish Breakfast with no option for a lesser amount. In the ideal world we would have preferred a mini fry. That option would also save Clooneen money. You can kill people with kindness and a full Irish Breakfast could do just that.

Excellent stopover for solo travelers

I loved my room under the sloping roof with old-fashioned furniture- the hotel was comfortable and homely. In particular, it offered very reasonable rates for single travelers, which many hotels don’t bother about. Breakfast was very good.

Noisy hotel with very poor quality beds: not value for money

Staff supplied a vignet so that we could park for free on the street in front of the hotel.

The bed was like a medieval rack. Every few minutes there was the loud noice of a machine howling. We were told this was the machine that heats the water for the entire hotel. The machine is switched off at 20.00 hours at night and switched back on at 07.30 hours in the morning. Finally the hotel is situated in an old building which meant that one could hear every person walking up the stairs and also the people in the adjacent room.

Homely Irish B&B

Very much a traditional Irish B&B. Great location and the perfect base to explore Westport/Connemara/Achill Island. The property itself was spotlessly clean, and the staff were exceptional - every one of them was warm and friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Free parking across the street.

As with any older property the walls are a little thin and some noise can travel. Unsure if it’s an immersion heater but the hot water in the shower seemed to run out quite quickly.

Great spot to stay in Westport

Staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was good, bed comfortable, liked the tea/coffee lounge set up. Breakfast was excellent and Elvis was charming.

Great stay

Great location, friendly staff. Spacious rooms, which were very clean and very comfy beds. Checking in was very simple and getting inside after hours was straight forward. Would recommend.

The only slight problem (emphasis on slight) was that the breakfast didn't cater for vegetarians very well. Some vegetarian sausages and mushrooms would have great but having said that,they were very accomodating and offered to cook us anything we bought. The breakfast we had was still lovely and plentiful and, the waitress was very nice.
