The location. The apartment is close to the beach ( 2 minute-walk) as well as to the central area of Cabourg, with lots of terraces, restaurants, pedestrian area. The apartment is nicely divided and organised and we found most of the things we needed.

The parking is free, but it's on the street. This means you may not always find a place near the building. The toilet room and the shower are extremely small and narrow and hard to use (at my 110 kg and 180 cm). They were not very clean either. Some bathroom objects need replacing/ thorough cleaning, some kitchen appliances should be cleaned as well (toaster, water heater). The couch cover needs a good washing, the balcony should be cleaned and emptied. I didn't like that the interval given for getting the apartment key was very short (between 16 and 18 pm). Afterwards, if there is any problem, or if further information is needed (which is not in the welcome folder) you can hardly find someone to pick up the phone. Also, communication is generally in French, English not so much. Upon departure, you can either choose to pay for cleaning or do the cleaning yourself. My wife found this unfair. We opted to pay for cleaning at the end, but would have liked to have found a well- cleaned apartment when we got there. Overall, my wish on holiday is not to spend time worrying about cleaning, or where to take out the trash or how to turn on the boiler for warm water.
