Happy Sky Ella

Is a beautiful place, so peaceful, quite. Beautiful garden and everything really clean.. Shashika prepared us such wonderfull meals. Really good breakfasts. The room is very nice with beautiful views. I would go back and I recomend it.

Nothing but if I had to say something is the way to the place. There was some tuk tuk drivers that didn't want to take us there, but happy sky ella have tuk tuk and they can pickup/drop off you to the center. we rent our own for a couple of days.

Heel mooie ligging iets buiten de stad. Wakker worden met de vogels. Heerlijk ontbijt en goeie keuken voor lunch. Komen je afhalen met tuktuk aan station en zetten je af aan hotel, toppie geregeld.

The location was very close to one of the waterfalls and one of the locals took us for an impromptu tour. The style of the hotel room and lodge area was designed nicely. We enjoyed the balcony and the general low-key aspect of the staff. No fuss, very relaxed atmosphere.

Access to the hotel is Tuktuk ONLY. The dirt road upto the hotel is very bumpy and narrow, so a driver cannot come up here. The room was quite noisy at various hours, early in the morning people chatting outside the room, tuktuks going past and dogs parking, so pack ear plugs. A few powercuts (don't last too long) and some construction going on as they are expanding to add more rooms. Not too bad though.
