Tout! L'accueil de notre hôte était formidable. La chambre est très grande, propre et très bien agencée. La terrasse est grande et calme. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et notre hôte nous a servi deux soirs un excellent repas! L'hôtel se trouve a 6 minutes en scooter/tuktuk du centre de Ella, et est cependant bien loin de la ville si animée. Vraiment, un excellent séjour, merci à notre hôte !!

Lovely host and peaceful location with a huge room
Narrow road was impossible for cars so we had to take a tuk tuk to the bottom on the day we left. As a pro, the narrow road added to the tranquility

We didn't actually stay. So I've given average scores for things not used. We arrived but immediately rebooked. Our first impressions of the room was ok, though we didn't inspect it. The host was very welcoming and disappointed we weren't staying. We did pay for the booking, however, the location was impossible for us. This is not mentioned in the description. We made the owner and booking.com aware of this.
Unfortunately the access to the property is very difficult. It is high up a steep mountain. You need to be a goat to access it. The tuk tuks cannot get to the property. They have to stop 100ft below. Then there is a dirt track and random stones to climb up. There is another way up/ down to the lane which has some step steps but still on a dirt path, and still high up the mountain. This was impossible with luggage. We immediately searched and rebooked another place in the centre of Ella. It resulted in lost time and disrupted our plans.
