Smart modern interior, tastefully decorated throughout. Warm house once we found the Google Nest thermostat! Walking distance to railway station, Showroom Cinema and city centre. Close to 24hr shop and pizza takeaway. Resident car parking day pass included. 5 min drive to InstaVolt fast EV charger, KFC and Asda. Glasswing Stays the property management company were very responsive; they sorted out a plumbing issue during our stay and also sent over extra towels and bedding for the sofa bed.

There was lots of litter in the street, some had possibly spilt out from the skip next door or from the recycling bins which were full. The resident parking day passes ran out during our stay, and after that I had to get up early each day (8am) to pay for the parking on the opposite side of the road. I reported the issue as soon as I arrived, but unfortunately new passes did not arrive in time for us to benefit. We were able to sign into our Netflix account on the tv, but it was disappointing that there were no terrestial channels available, as I'd have liked to have watched the BBC iPlayer or itvX.

Quiet. Good walking distance to the city. Plentiful hot water. Good kitchen facilities. The part owner Oriane very kind and helpful.

Spent the majority of my stay being very cold in a “cosy” house. Only in the last couple of days was I told precisely how to operate the heating. I constantly tried to use a thermostat which was exactly where the advice booklet said. Very late in my stay I was told that that thermostat was no longer in use. The working thermostat was elsewhere. My offering would be get rid of the defunct thermostat, update the advice booklet, leave clear instructions on how to use the very modern TV ( I never mastered it), how to operate the stove hob and oven ( modern but no guidance how to operate it, I got my information from google) and one small touch, the bath and shower ( which are excellent) need an anti-slip mat.
