Beautiful townhouse in a quiet but central part of Edinburgh, away from the chaos but in walking distance of many lovely sights and venues. Great communication from staff. Very comfortable and clean bedroom.
Would be great to have a bar fridge in the room for snacks, drinks etc. Entry to the building and rooms is via a keypad and heavy doors which are both loud enough to wake a light sleeper whenever another guest comes into the building.

It was quiet and a great location. Staff were great with communication and the room was well appointed with everything you would need and more. I loved the quirkiness of the whole place.
My only gripe was bathroom related - the toilet seat seemed to be a replacement and was not the right size or fit for the cistern which meant it kept slipping. The other small thing was that water didn’t drain well in either the sink or shower and with the shower this meant water was in danger of overflowing.

Pretty room with pleasant view , close to tram stop and both local shops and the new shopping centre.
The guest in the bedroom above snored so loudly that I could hear it in my room , in the hall and downstairs toilet! It spoiled my stay. The lack of on site staff meant that I had no option but to endure it
In general the room was quite pricey for what was on offer, given that there is no on-site staff, no breakfast offered or restaurant.
