Room was quiet and clean. Very authentic and felt like I am living in a different century. Check in was clear and concise. Staff responding online in a very timely and clear manner.
There is nothing that I didn't like. It was perfect for my requirements.

Location was ideal and really was the charm of this hotel. Close to tram stop, Waverley station, bus station and many restaurants and pubs.
The hotel is a bit 'tired' and could definitely use a little bit of a spruce up, not only the room but stairwells too. A couple of issues with the room were noted to management, so hopefully they have been resolved for the next guests. Would not stay again.

Location was wonderful. Price was reasonable. Room was clean. The beds were comfortable.
No breakfast served, room itself was nice but warm. Could use a portable fan. The numerous flights of stairs were not fun. Two people, 74 & 82 yr old, should not be placed on the 3rd & 1/2 floor in the "servant's quarters". A lower level would have made our stay much easier. Also directions to the lock and individual key systems were very complicated and we weren't the only ones that had problems. Emergency number advertised was not answered both times we called it, just rang and rang and rang and rang.
