Smell of the gas in the kitchen, witch I know is nessesery fot hot watter and the heeting system - but it is strange.
The bad is very soft, and the duvet covers are such that you kick them to the bottom of the bed at night, and you're left with a duvet that others have used too..

The location and size of the apartment were good. Directions for collecting keys were excellent. Parking was convenient and easy to access. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was good. Inclusion of an oven was good. Lots of storage in the bedrooms and bathroom.
When we arrived (we had specified between 16:00 and 17:00, but actually arrived at 18:00) the apartment had not been cleaned (dirty towels, beds slept in, surfaces not cleaned). We tried contacting the managing agent(s) six times on the numbers provided (now out of date) and received a text message saying "This is not my apartment". Eventually, they texted us the current manager's name. When we got a hold of her, she apologised that they had a problem with the cleaner in the afternoon and would send another one straight away. When the cleaner did arrive, they gave the place a quick once over and we did not have the apartment to ourselves until after 20:00. (We were reimbursed the city tax of 48 euro to compensate.) We were provided dish washing liquid, but no tea towel or plug for the kitchen sink. We were told to use the dishwasher (only 1 dishwater tablet provided for the week). The apartment is quite dingy, even on a sunny day. It looks a lot brighter in the website photos. There was only one useable power point in the kitchen and even that had to be "repaired" by the managing agent before we could use it. The apartment owner had to come into the apartment on two separate days because water was leaking from an unspecified apartment into the basement. We had to manage all garbage disposal and recycling, but were provided with only two of the four bins required. The garbage/recycling calendar was last year's, yet there were at least three notices in the apartment warning that if we did not comply, there could be an extra fee. We felt that we had little "quiet enjoyment" of the apartment.

The property manager was very gracious to let us in a little earlier as our 12 year old son was not feeling well after the overnight plane ride and lack of sleep. We really appreciated this as if not he was just going to sleep in the car until the 3pm check in time.
It was a fairly big apartment with a large outdoor patio area which we would have used more if we were there longer and also in a different season (had to be careful for the mosquitos in August). There was also a cute little park that was just big enough for our son to go out and kick around the soccer ball. The sofa was large and comfy, tv worked well, dining room table was great for 4 people. Just about all the kitchen equipment we needed was available.
We chose Treviso as it was lauded as the home of Tiramisu so we tried it at a couple different places, it was also only about an hour from Venice airport and we wanted to get some flight recovery days before heading to the Dolomites. Treviso was an awesome little town, with the Sile River running through it. The main town was only a short walk from this apartment with parking so the location was great. Lots of good shopping in Treviso, plenty of restaurants, gelato and of course Tiramisu!!
If you are staying here during the summer, I would caution that the one air conditioning unit was located in the hallway between two bedrooms and didn't provide enough cold air to cool the two bedrooms nor the living room/dining room/kitchen, it basically cooled the small hallway between the two bedrooms. We were lucky that we caught a couple of cooler August days after some storms moved through, but had it been in the 90s we would have been uncomfortable. Espresso/Coffee maker was rusted on the bottom so we went out and bought a french press at a store next to an Aldi. The building complex was pretty quiet, maybe because it was August. The windows of the main bedroom open into the entrance walkway between two of the complex entrance/staircases so I could see that could be tricky if you wanted to open the windows at night for cool air in the bedroom. The first night I did hear people coming in/out but managed to fall back asleep. The second bedroom with the twin bed was pretty small, but worked just fine for 1 child, I'm not sure how you could have fit more than 1 child in that room and the toilet from the bathroom flushed just where our son's head was so that did wake him up in the morning.

I liked the location. The apartment was spacious, two separate bedrooms. In the kitchen, all the important appliances were there and working. A nice terrace and private garden, our 6-year kid liked it a lot. Had nice interior and rather larger bathroom. Also close to some bus stations and it was quite a short walk to some nice restaurants.
We arrived late in the evening, but since we knew there is going to be a keybox (also got the instructions on how to open it, beforehand) - we actually expected to get into the apartment with no big hassle. But unfortunately, the sent code did not work. We managed to contact the owner, but he could not help much, as the code we inserted was correct - but the keybox itself was jammed or something. Luckily a helpful neighbour managed to open the keybox with a screwdriver and we got the keys. Hopefully that keybox is by now replaced :)
Another aspect, which we did not quite like, was there was some pungent odor in the kitchen area - I traced to the location of the source and found the gas piping, I guess maybe there was a slight leak somewhere. Although the owner said its fine & safe (and probably it even was), still it got us worried a bit in the night during sleep.
We could not use some of the kitchen appliances (e.g. water kettle) on the kitchen work area, as the sockets in the wall were broken - but we did workaround by using some good sockets e.g. in the hall room.
And, we had a surprise one morning after leaving a half-cut apple on the kitchen desk - the next morning it was full of ants :) (maybe it is common in Italy on the first floor though, not sure - but if you visit this place, do not leave food lying around!)

Departamento amplio, bien equipado.
