Ramana Garden Hostel - Self-Service Accommodation

Easy on-line self check-in, large comfortable beds with bed/pillow protectors. Everything very clean. Ideal location in the Old Town - outside noise could be eliminated by closing very good double glazed windows - air con also available. Hallway with tables/chairs for bringing in own food/drinks, no cooking facilities - but not really needed considering location. Plenty of food options nearby. Filtered water machine was very handy. Huge lockers with combination locks, liked the way lockers were between the beds (which were very sturdy) & with heavy curtain so very private. Hostel felt very chilled and quiet (even over the weekend), not particularly social but wasn’t there for that. I would recommend for a stay in Bucharest - very good price too!

A minor point - timers on bathroom lights are too quick! Shower cubicles are rather small and could do with some hooks on the outside of the doors as nowhere to put your clothes!

Great value for money, very central location, super clean and spacious rooms and also bedding area, very easy to check in through the app, air conditioning rooms, responding team always available

Sometimes the labelling of the beds can be confusing, specially when someone arrives during the night

In old town and centric

Strong smell of cigarettes and very hot in room no control to turn on and lots of mosquitos in room.

The bed was comfortable. The area was good. There was a water dispenser.

A girl from the Palpatine team was insensitive. I arrived at the hostel at 3 am and asked to meet to charge my cell phone and she refused and also added that it was my problem. I had to be on the street for over 4 hours with questionable people. If there wasn't something from the restaurant to open the door for me in the morning, I would have stayed out for more hours. When I entered, I discovered that there were only 3 guests in the hostel. The woman from the phone service said you need to check that your bed is ready. Of the two-story deaths that were in the room, I had the high bed on the 2nd floor, which was uncomfortable to climb on. The climb was oppressive. There was no place to put the towels in the shower. The cleaner who helped me pick up the clothes that fell behind the locker Every time she saw me, she laughed at me behind my back with another cleaning lady. The locker was open at the back so I couldn't properly put my things away without fearing that I would have to wait for them to help me out again.
