The Java Lane - Jonker Walk & River, Steps Away

Location is the best feature for this property. Interiors are exactly as per pictures and descriptions which we really like. Just be aware that though the swirl stairs are really cute however will not be suitable for seniors with bad knees. Bathroom and shower pressure in both bathrooms are very satisfactory. No sewerage smell in the property which is a big plus! The host and staff were really helpful and accommodating which made your stay very pleasant and memorable. Will definitely recommend and hope to be back again next time! Thank you!

Some water leaks might be from kitchen tap and one of the windows from heavy rain but because we cut short our stay it’s not a big issue for us.

Excellent location with parking and short walk to tourists places. Clean rooms and spaces as shown in pictures. Owner treated us with cookies each morning which was unexpected but appreciated.

Victor provided clear information before our stay, and the check-in process was very smooth. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the Malacca River Walk, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. I really loved the home’s design and decoration; you can tell a lot of effort was put into every detail, and it truly feels like home. My friends and I spent the evening chatting and bonding in the cozy living room, which was both comfortable and relaxing.

The place is clean and homey. It is comfortable and welcoming. Roughly 10 min walk to Jonker Street and most attractions which is convenient

However, being close to town has its downside too; the streets gets noisy early in the morning. Not really a downside unless you’re not a morning person :)
