Flexible spaces would make this useful for a group of hikers on the Kumano Kodo. The view from the backside looking over the river was sweet. The kitchen was nicely setup.

It wasn’t apparent from the listing photos that the river was quite a bit below the villa and that it was so rocky. It meant the little girls couldn’t comfortably play in the water. We rented a kayak for an additional fee but the river was too low to really use it and then it rained all day. I’m hoping the owners will refund me the fee. Also being right on the road with non-stop traffic destroyed the idyllic setting as depicted in the photos.
