Top location in Nara. Unbeatable. We got a nice twin room with a great garden view. Onsen is very nice, in a garden. Great kaiseki.
First room we were given had only a very small window. Do not accept this one!

The best location in Nara. 5 minutes walking to every major attractions. Nice room with a large window and view to the garden. Delicious onsen, inside and external pools with view to gardens. Great kaiseki and western breakfast. On the premises parking.
At first they tried to give me room 316. In the center of the building with only a small window and a couple of pots with plants. But when I went back to reception they moved me to 310; very nice big window over the garden. Carpets on corridors deserve a change for they are old and stained.

Location was good near the park and train station
Breakfast offered was at 7 or 7.30am. Don’t expect a lie in 😜 We declined breakfast but then got woken up to ask when we were coming! Really poor service considering the accommodation price. The smell in the corridor was also very unpleasant, not sure what it was but it remained throughout our 2 night stay.
