Close proximity to walking to the high street. Overall a good stay, but not ideal for elderly or those unstable on their feet. Was only a short stay, but any longer and there would be issues.

The shower was very poor. The main shower head didn't work, and the hand held tap shower was useless. The water was coming out of both tap and head, even when the nozzle was pulled up. And the shower curtain didnt protect the brick wall, and we was worried about soaking the floor. The bath is set very high, so not ideal for people below 5ft 5. Only 1 wine glass. Loose floor board in the bathroom, which pinches your feet if you catch it wrong. It should be stated that the stairs are fully open. The photos looks like its half open. My grandad was with us, and was very unsafe with only one hand rail and no rail at the very bottom of the steps. The outside steps are very short and narrow, a hand rail would be ideal there

Was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Location was also great for us.

There were Rodents in the kitchen, they were getting into our packaged food and leaving faeces around, which doesn’t really sit well when you have to pay £40 cleaning fee for your dog but the rodents created more mess. The two staircases have no banisters which isn’t safe for young children. Perhaps stair gates should be offered.
