a great stay for a family at half term

Easy and comfortable stay for family of 5. Super location near to Lymington marshes, easy to get to shops in and arounf Lymington. Would like to come again!

A lovely RELAXING campsite, in a beautiful setting. The caravan was a great size and design. A lovely greeting note and welcome. We loved eating at The Chequers Inn so much, that we went TWICE in four days!

Absoloutly love the size of the static homes and how dainty they looked. Very cute and refreshing getaway holiday and a beautiful location too😍 a beautiful drive to Bournemouth too. Amazing value!

Great base from which to explore the New Forest.

Superb location where the country meets the coast. Staff were generally helpful and good-humoured.

Two of the deck chairs were torn. The caravan looked a little tired.

Beautiful location, shame about the cleanliness

Perfectly located with beautiful walks from the caravan.

Issues with the property. I understand it's an older caravan. The layout was brilliant, linen, and towels lovely and fresh. But all cutlery, crockery, glasses, and utensils were absolutely filthy. I had to wash everything we needed to use before we could use it as it was covered in a greesy film. There is a potato peeler in the draw that is clearly used and unwashed, I didn't use it. Then there is the mould and cobwebs. Mould in bathrooms and bedroom, on curtains and walls. The fabric blinds in both bathrooms need to be taken down and burnt as they are a huge health hazard. The kettle needs throwing out or at least descaling well. The toaster was greesy and full of crumbs, so I had to empty and wash it first before we could use it. It is also a huge fire risk! The sofas really need a deep clean, and so do the fabric headboards. They have years of grease and staining on them. Just take some pride if you are renting this to customers. It such a lovely location and layout is brilliant, so such a shame we just would not come back.
