LB Newgate

It's a fantastic location and a very well organised small cottage with lovely views of the harbour. We appreciated the welcome box, especially the milk. Good information provided in the cottage booklet and the parking card is excellent. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Fridge a good size and the cleanliness was excellent.

The key box is a little fiddly and we had to try several times before it would unlock. A very minor quibble is that it was very hot during our stay but the beds did not have the option of just a sheet for cover during the night. We did try taking the lightweight duvets out and using the covers but they were still too heavy. If sheets cannot be provided then it would be good if a note was made in the excellent email that was sent before our stay, so that we could have brought them with us. Also may need extra fans for all rooms during hot weather. Small rubbish bins in the bedrooms would also be welcome.

The location, right in the quay and short walk to high street

There was a dirty hair smell to the double room, also there were quite a few ants on the floor and We didn’t understand the parking! we were only there 2 days which made me wonder what people do if on a weeks Holiday!

Location fab- warm, clean, cosy , felt safe

Stairs are a wee bit steep

Excellent location, right by the Quay. Beautiful cottage, comfy beds. Host was really communicative and helpful. Having the parking pass with the car park so close made it really convenient.
