MONTEROSSO GARDEN House PLUS

We had a fabulous time at Monterosso Garden House. The property was light and bright. The air conditioner was very effective given the mid 30 degree heat and we loved that it was only a short walk to the main swimming beach, cafes, shops and train station. The old town is also a 10min walk away. The kitchen was well equipped (we loved the raspberry herbal tea) and the bathrooms were well stocked (lots of body and hand lotion provided). Host Luciano was very welcoming, helpful, communicated well in advance and was overall a pleasure to have as our host. Thankyou Luciano for having us!

My 80year old Mum wasn’t keen on so many stairs to reach the apartment and the steep walk to the property from the beach. I was fine. The apartment could benefit with an electric kettle, cushions on all of the chairs (including outdoor chairs), olive oil and pepper and basic instructions on how to use the induction stovetop. The storage nook in the living area could also do with a thorough dust. The kitchen skylight windows were also very bright in the morning and made the kitchen hot when cooking, so would benefit from block out blinds.

The host met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious with a nice garden and a terrace with a sea view. The apartment is only a short walk to the beach, nice bars and restaurants. The AC is very good. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Nothing really. May be the only issue would be that there is a short walk uphill to get to the apartment followed by a number of steps, so it may be difficult for anybody with accessibility needs.

The apartment was very modern and comfortable, just like home. It has a full kitchen, with large fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, clothing iron, dining table, and all the appliances that a woman need. Even a small lounge are with an extra fold-out bed. Bathroom was big enough, shower large, with hot water, air conditioning was working perfectly. Bedroom was big enough, nice and firm, with a king size bed. Lots of coat hangers and a wardrobe. Great outdoor patio area with large umbrella.

Pillows were hard and unforgiving, towels were thin, coffee machine leaked and didn't work properly, kettle needs replacing. I pointed it out to Luciano and he responded positively.

We were assisted by Luciano for registering and throughout our stay. He was very helpful and the accommodations were very clean, up to date and comfortable. The garden outside the apartment was beautiful and there is a washing machine there. The view is beautiful. We would highly recommend this place for all travelers. It was very easy to get to the town of Monterosso and the train station.
