Acorn Apartment 2 (upper)

Location to town was great. We were there for hiking and found we also had easy access to the areas we wanted to explore. The home was clean, tidy and well presented. Every need catered for e.g iron, hair dryer full kitchen etc.

We were two separate adults. One bedroom was great with full bed. The other room had very small single beds. Not easy to sleep on as an adult. Understand the concept for children but didn't work for me!

The location was perfect for us. The area is central but very quiet. The apartment is very clean and tidy. Lovely views of Skiddaw and Blencathra from the property. The apartment is spacious and airy. The beds and sofa etc. are really comfy. The shower is wonderful, just what you need after a good walk. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of plates, etc, which enabled us to stack the dishwasher without running out. The key box worked perfectly and we had helpful information from Susan before our visit.

This is not a complaint of any kind, it's just an observation. The bathroom is lovely, but with three of us using it, we couldn't hang our towels up to dry. (The towels luxuriously thick and a good size.)The heated towel rack is too small for more than a hand towel. There was a double hook, but using it meant covering the toilet roll and holder. We took the toilet roll off and put it on the floor so that one of us could use the hook. Some hooks or a towel rail on the door and at the end of the shower would be useful.

A lovely spacious apartment walking distance to the centre of Keswick and the lake.
