Escape to this quaint one-bedroom cottage, the perfect place for couples to unwind. Step into the beautiful welcoming kitchen, where culinary adventures await, then unwind in the snug yet uniquely inviting lounge area. Retire to the expansive double bedroom, complete with fitted wardrobes for all your storage needs. Refresh in the fully tiled downstairs bathroom, boasting a rejuvenating shower over a petite bath. Conveniently located for seamless exploration of the breathtaking coastal and countryside landscapes that await just beyond the doorstep.
Guest Access:
Entry is easy, with just one step up to the front door and a convenient digital lock for self check-in.
The Neighborhood:
Pickering is a charming market town, and the cottage is just a short walk from the town centre—home to the famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway, as well as plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés, and independent shops to explore. A short drive takes you to the picture-perfect village of Thornton-le-Dale, home of Mathewsons Bangers & Cash. Further afield, you’ll find the beautiful towns of Helmsley and York, and the coastal gems of Scarborough and Whitby, all within easy reach.
Getting Around:
You’re within walking distance of everything Pickering has to offer. For exploring further afield, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs through nearby villages all the way to Whitby. There’s also a local bus service—be sure to check the timetable—as well as a reliable taxi service in town.
Other Things to Note:
• There is free on street parking outside the cottage, the bays opposite restricted to 2 hours no return, so you can park from 3pm – 11am the next day, the other streets are unrestricted
• No dogs allowed
• High chair and travel cot provided on request
• No stairgate
• One hairdryer available for guests
• All bedding and towels are provided
• Starter pack of coffee, tea, sugar, milk provided
