Ein nettes gut erhaltenes Cottage mit Charme.
Besonders toll der kleine Garten! Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man auch nett im Wintergarten verweilen. Die Vermieter haben wir zwar nicht gesehen, sie haben uns aber mehrfach kontaktiert und Hilfe angeboten, sehr nett!
Ungewöhnlich das es eine Waschmaschine aber keine Geschirrspülmaschine gibt.

Het was een prachtige cottage. Heel sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien. Een heerlijke tuin en een mooie locatie. Op loopafstand van de supermarkt, treinstation en restaurants.
Eigenlijk was alles prima voor elkaar.

The accomodation was beautiful and really cosy to stay in. It is clearly well looked after and well prepared for guest arrivals. The location, in terms of amenities, was good and it really is a charming little place in the interior. Also loved the individual touches to the place; some fantastically eclectic decorating.
I've not seen many other reviews mention it, but the location in terms of an incredibly busy main road outside is not ideal. We stayed with young children and HGVs were up and down the road until about 11pm. To make matters worse, the sound proofing at the front of the house (likely due to property type) is relatively poor. Ironically, for clearly being an older property, holds heat in the upstairs bedrooms which makes not really being able to open a window (due to noise) a real double whammy!

We had a very comfortable 4 night stay in this charming cottage. It is well equipped and was surprisingly roomy for the 2 of us and our dog. Fab location just a short stroll from Pickering, which has many cafes, bars and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Figaros, an Italian restaurant in town - it’s so good you will probably need to book. Pickering is very dog friendly, and the locals were also very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend the cottage.
