Made our own breakfast

The water tap in the bathroom, without a bath, dribbled water but water was cold. The thermostat valve in the other bedroom was stuck at zero degrees and needs replacing.

A lovely cosy, spacious and well decorated cottage in perfect location. Everything was within easy walking distance - we didn’t need to use the car at all whilst we were there. There is designated off road parking, which meant we didn’t need to worry about finding a parking space. It was great for either a family or two couples as both bedrooms had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed - there was even a dishwasher and washing machine. The owners were easy to contact and very responsive. We’ve already booked to stay again!

There was a little road noise in the living area and front bedroom but it didn’t really bother us too much and was quieter over night. The radiator in the twin bedroom didn’t seem to heat up with the rest of the radiators. It wasn’t an issue while we were there but may need checking before winter. A few of the plates and mugs were chipped, but I reported these to the owners, so hopefully will be replaced.

Perfect location in centre of town. The renovations to the cottage were of a high standard, especially the bathrooms & kitchen.

We couldn’t find instructions for the heating system…not a big issue for us as we only had one cool day.

The location of the cottage, whilst on a busy road was very central. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The cottage was clean and tidy on arrival.

The write-up talked about a terrace and this was only a damp and somewhat gloomy walk through to the property. You could certainly NOT have used this space in anyway. Lots of the wallpaper was hanging off the walls, particularly in the bathroom. The sink in the main bathroom did not empty well and the sink in the other 2nd bathroom smelled of damp. One bed was very uncomfortable.
