Cosy one bedroom cottage in Pickering

Close to the town, peaceful area, Comfortable bed.

Slide on shower head needed attention as kept dropping. Settee was too low and difficult to get up from.

Lovely cosy cottage in Pickering. Close to NYMR and charming town centre.

Nothing wrong at all, however we are used to a King Bed and a higher sofa. I have spinal stenosis and I found sitting and rising difficult. We really enjoyed the cottage apart from that.

Location was fantastic, real character, though would not recommend the closest Fish and Chips unless you like soggy saggy chips. The cottage has real character and a spacious bedroom with comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything and more. Everything was in good working order.

At 6ft 4inch (192cm) the low light fitting, the heater in the way of being able to sit straight on toilet, and the low beam on the stairs with sharp edge. All these where not an issue for my 5ft 10inch wife. So my ratings are mainly based on her height as not many people are over 6 ft! If you are conservative you may not like that the front door small clear glasslets in the leadlighting don't have a curtain to cover them from anyone kinky enough to want to put their face to the door and peer in.

Lovely cosy cottage in fantastic location
