Great position in centre of Pickering,just walk up the road for all the shops you need,two supermarkets two minutes walk away. North Yorks Moors Railway one minute walk,fish and chip shops nearby.

Loud music from the live group on a Friday night at the public house next door.The parking was very tight,with the risk of getting doors damaged from neighbouring vehicles.Smells from the plug holes in the kitchen and bathroom.Window frames are getting rotten and difficult to close.

Location is excellent, right in the middle of Pickering and has its own car park, which is quite unusual, especially as its included in the price of the holiday flat. Good Sized flat for 2 people. Comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. Good sized kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you would need.

The chairs in the living room are good quality and comfortable, but you can't "lounge" on them. With a re-shuffle of the furniture you could fit in a small sofa, which would be more relaxing. If no sofa would fit, then a couple of reclining chairs might be an option.

Location was excellent, parking really convenient.

Good location for exploring the North York Moors.

The beds were twin and not tied together. On pushing them together, we discovered one was higher than the other. The thinner matresses was very uncomfortable. If you ran your hands over the matress (either side) you could feel the springs - even worse when lying on it. This resulted in 3 poor nights' sleep. This is not acceptable. When we pay this much for a rental we expect at least comfortable beds. I emailed Sykes Cottages and Booking.com after the first night. Neither bothered to reply.
