Exclusive Blue Apartment - City Center - Como - Near Station

The apartment was walking distance from the train station and not too far from the main shopping/restaurant areas. We were able to drop our bags off in the room before the 3pm check in time which was appreciated.

The apartment itself is modern and comfortable but it's on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Just so you know. We had to strategically take showers to not run out of hot water.

Location wise it was very good near the waterfront. The flat was also was very comfortable with nice bedroom, air conditioner, sofa cum bed, washing machine, good bathroom and kitchen with all equipments like gas, fridge, dish washer, oven, electric kettle etc.

Lift was not there so we had to drag our luggage upto the second floor. Secondly no basic items were kept in kitchen/fridge like water and some food items would have been helpful.

Clear and kind communication, from Matteo, AC was our savior during heatwave. Close to train station, close to points of interests but far enough to stay at calm. Perfect for people coming with train. I recommend it !

The bed was a bit too hard for my mom, who is sensitive to this. Maybe there was a trash somewhere in the apartment but we didn't find it.

Close to the station, a supermarket and the lake, convenient for a short walk into town and the waterside sights / attractions. Nicely furnished and smart TV but No TV in bedroom. We bumped into the cleaning lady half way through the stay as she was cleaning next door. She was amazing and provided dish washer tablets so we could clean, she also offered and washed the dishes that were dirty and was extremely energetic and pleasant, wishing us well for the proposal from earlier in the day and even google translating a nice message to us as she left, very sweet.

Bedrooms could do with additional pillows or bedding, only a small 2nd blanket. Pull out sofa bed is handy for groups larger than 2. No essentials you would expect from apartment stay. Could benefit from a useful info document / guidebook (where to find / how to use ). No cooking oil, salt, pepper, eg missing stuff you wouldn’t buy in for a short stay. No dish washer tablets or fairy liquid, coffee machine with 2 pods for a 2 person 4 morning stay, no washing tablets. Multiple plug sockets, specifically USB plugs, that don’t work. Bathroom missing body wash. Bathroom mirror off the wall and in cupboard and mirror light broken. One light in living room that flickers. Sent email via booking.com well in advance advising 11am arrival due to check in, no response, rung from outside the apartment at 11.10 and was advised nobody on site until 2, check in from 3. Got lucky as a luggage storage nearby for big suitcases and went for lunch/spritz - but not ideal following a 4am start for flight. Would advise to plan carefully around this. Booking.com description mentions wine/champagne for guests. We read this as in on arrival there would be wine. When in fact this is an additional add on you can pay for to use the wine fridge, don’t bother, there is a carrefour nearby.
