Too expensive for what you get
The terrace,the view,the air-conditioning,the spot it was close to everything we wanted to visit.
In the center of the Old Town.
The bedroom was ok,clean,quiet,sunny.
The bad communication/never answer the phone-number given and at mails only the day after.
Very confusing about where the keys are/where the room is,plus two different ways of what to do with the parking card-we never used it.
Not that clean.
At the terrace,not that clean too.
Two light bulbs,burned and not replaced.
The bathroom curtain never washed.
Really old building and not that clean.
The 5th floor without elevator,it was finally really a bad choice.
Too expensive for what you get.

Overall nice apartment ruined by sketchy neighbourhood and derelict building
Apartment was decently furnished, with almost everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Parking was a nice perk, but not without it's issues.
Hosts communicated and responded to our questions on time and were pleasant, but every response was in french even though we messaged them in english, that was somewhat frustrating.
Grasse is very nice town and worth staying and exploring.
LOCATION
On our first day (we arrived after 6PM) we were greeted by a wide array of suspicious people sitting around the streets in the neighborhood, on curbs and benches and just giving us looks that made us feel very uneasy. I guess this whole place is completely inhabited by arabs, and with all due respect to the ethnicity, they didn't give us a welcome feeling. You can read about this in other reviews as well.
Even though the apartment is decent, the entrance and hallway of the building is very dark, claustrophobic, dirty, smelled of urine and not a pleasant journey at all (which is to the 5th floor - on foot). Maybe we expected too much, but entire experience is more likely to be met by brazillian favellas, not a french town in Provence.
We were quite shocked on our first day that we considered leaving next day. Though, we didn't. Next day, from the morning it was a bit better since the shops in the streets opened and all tourists suddendly showed up. We also learned to avoid sketchy streets when returning home in the evening.
APARTMENT
Though apartment is nicely furnished, it hasn't been cleaned thouroughly which is obvious from the amount of dust in the corners and around the furniture. The couch is stained, it has some blanket on the backrest that smells funny. Some of the dishes in had literally leftovers from cooking pasta - which weren't a surprise tbh since there was no sponge for dishes provided.
Terrace has a great view, but it was also dirty with a lot of bird droppings around.
PARKING
There is a nearby parking garage, and host provided a card for free entry, but everything is set up in a cumbersome way that you have to park somewhere (or in a garage), go to apartment, take a card, return to garage and make a 10 min circle around town to be able to enter garage again - with provided card (garage exit is completely on a different elevation, and not near the entrance at all).

Solo il panorama dal terrazzino
Non è stato specificato dove fosse il contenitore delle chiavi che abbiamo trovato, dopo circa trenta minuti, situato ai piedi di un altro edificio posto al di là della strada a circa 10 metri dal nostro stabile. La via è molto sporca e situata in una zona molto degradata. Il numero civico è scritto in penna sul muro ed è poco visibile e la porta d’ingresso è orribile. Il corridoio che porta alle scale è buio e malconcio e vi sono elettrodomestici ed altro materiale abbandonati. Per andare all’appartamento bisogna salire 5 piani e non c’è un ascensore. Le stanze sono state tinteggiate abbastanza recentemente ma non c’è adeguata pulizia. In cucina e nelle lenzuola abbiamo trovato delle blatte. Il tavolino della sala è rotto, non funziona la luce della cucina e il tavolo esterno è sporco.

En brannfelle i Grasse som ingen bør benytte til overnatting
Pent innredet soverom
Bilder stemte ikke med virkeligheten. Vanskelig å finne boligen. Boligen lå i et dårlig området som luktet ille. Inngangsdøren fra gaten var falleferdig og ulåst. Nummeret på huset var borte, tallet 4 var risset inn i stein. Oppgangen var uten belysning i 5 etasjer og hadde heller ikke noen vinduer. Bortsett fra soverommet var leiligheten sparsomt innredet. Ingen nødutganger forutenom hovedinngangen som var mørklagt. Vil absolutt ikke anbefale denne leiligheten da det er en brannfelle. Vi forlot uten å bo der.

Abbiamo prenotato all’ultimo momento. La mail per le indicazioni del parcheggio e l’accesso all’appartamento sono arrivate dopo esserci recati alla palazzina dell’alloggio. Non avendo istruzioni ce ne siamo andati senza pernottare. L’host contattato tramite whatsapp è stato gentile ma noi ce ne eravamo già andati.
