The location was great and once inside the property, it was pleasant
The building directly adjacent was dilapidated. While walking down the stairs, the opposite stairwell, the doors were boarded up and a lot of condemned areas. Felt unsafe to walk near and elevator was in between both sides.

It was noisy from the streets below. Perhaps double glazing might help.

while the apartment is centrally located, it was unbearably loud, from hearing the diners downstairs to 4am wake up call everyday from the recycling truck, it was incredibly difficult to rest at this apartment. this should have been disclosed in the properties' description.
