Social Garden - Sharing Room

The vibe of the property is like none I have ever visited before. Such a unique hostel experience. Only 6 people in the room, one glamping tent, and 2 private rooms. Because of this you get to know everyone. You really come back home completely relaxed and reconnected with nature. The atmosphere is so beautifully crafted, everything is detailed. The bathroom is amazing and the hostel room also very pretty. The kitchen is very well equipped. The property is being cleaned every day. There is a river you can cool off which is only a 2 minute walk. Calci itself is very close and reachable from Pisa by public transport (bus). The owners are very nice and friendly and have a very good energy. The two cats are also very cute.

The mattresses are quite hard and the pillow is also very thin. The airconditioning in the shared room either blasted so some beds were very cold and others were nice, or some beds were enjoyable and others very hot as you lay under the roof. Was still okay sleeping conditions.

From the moment I arrived, I instantly felt at home. Social Garden isn't just a hostel, it's a place with a genuinely warm and cozy atmosphere that makes you relax straight away. A special thank you to Federico, who was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made everyone feel like family. Although I didn't get the chance to meet Linda during my stay, everyone I met was so friendly and open. We chatted, spent time together, went out in the evenings, and met people from different countries. It was exactly the kind of social experience I was hoping for. The garden is absolutely beautiful and quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hostel has a huge, well-equipped kitchen and three modern, clean shared bathrooms. There's also a large supermarket just a short walk away, which is very convenient. It's a little outside Pisa, but honestly, that's part of its charm. Instead of city noise, you get peace, nature, and good vibes. During my stay, the nearby village of Calci was celebrating a local festival, and it felt like being back in a small hometown where everyone knows each other. It was such a special experience. I only stayed for two nights, but next time I'd happily come back for a week. It's the perfect place to slow down, recharge, disconnect from everyday stress, and reconnect with yourself. One of those rare places that stays with you long after you've left.

Nothing worth mentioning. If you're looking to be in the very center of Pisa, this location may feel a bit remote. But if your goal is to relax, enjoy nature, and experience a welcoming community, it's absolutely worth it.

Je me suis immédiatement sentie comme chez moi. Les lieux sont si beaux, si accueillants. Le jardin est un plus inestimable, avec son hamac et ses chaises longues. La rivière à deux pas est la cerise sur le gâteau. Et les hôtes sont vraiment chaleureux. Je recommande à 100% Juste, soyez prévenus, il peut faire un peu chaud dans la chambre partagée, la nuit. Mais franchement, si, comme moi vous n'arrivez aps à dormir, un petit tour dans le jardin, à regarder les étoiles, et le tour est joué

Everything! Accommodation, people, garden, cats & hosts. I found everything was perfectly coordinated in a way it should be and felt like home in Italy 💕 Thanks for the host, Linda & Federico, they went way more than just been hosts, but took care of us and made sure we were enjoying the stay there. I will definitely come back in the future. This place is a hidden treasure in Italy. 🇮🇹🙏
