Cosy, enjoyable stay

Fantastic location and the building felt safe. Amy, responded to any questions or issues I had. I felt looked after. The property was lovely and cosy.

Okay, does the job.

The property was modern and in a great location.

Within hours of arriving, the washing machine appeared to leak out of the back of the machine (without use). I informed the host, however nothing was done. We had to clean up and unplug all the electrical appliances ourselves. The apartment was fairly clean, although there were still some used towels with questionable stains left in the bathroom.

Such potential, but terrible stay with non-existent customer service.

Location was an easy walk from the train station. The space had nice high ceilings, beautiful light streaming through the high arched windows, and was clean at first glance.

Extremely poor customer service, dirty towels, quantity and quality of towels, hangers, pillows and blankets, uncomfortable bed, and broken toilet seat. We were 2 people staying for a week. Upon arrival, I noticed that all the 4 towels (2sml,2lg) were soiled, there were only 5 hangers in the small armoire, a missing light bulb on the nightstand lamp, a broken toilet seat, and a flashing error message on the bedroom heater. Texting the host was useless. On Sunday afternoon, I was told that no one would be able to deal with any of our issues until Tuesday. Tuesday! So, I offered to go purchase towels and hangers and be reimbursed, but I was told that this was not possible! Really? Every towel was stained, and 2 of them had long black kinky hairs stuck to them. Gross. Did they expect us to shower with dirty towels and live out of our suitcases until Tuesday? Apparently so. But guess what? On Tuesday, no one showed up or communicated that no one would attend to our needs. After reaching out by text and phone multiple times for 3 days straight, no one showed up. No one called to apologize, and we were just left hanging for the entire week. Further, we only received 3 pillows that were flat as pancakes, there were tiny holes in the duvet, and it was the worst mattress I've ever slept in: soft and worn out. I wanted to give the place 5 starts because I loved the architectural elements of the building (beautiful high arched windows), and at first glance, the apartment is aesthetically pleasing. However, it was apparent that someone just hastily furnished the space with cheap IKEA furniture, selected a loveseat when clearly there was room for a sectional, and didn't care for their guests' comfort. Please note that the building does not have a lift (not disclosed), so we were forced to carry our heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs.
