Casa Dorothy is a unique seventh-floor beachfront penthouse showcasing a private rooftop pool with stunning ocean views of the entire bay.
This three-bedroom, three full-bath penthouse (with additional loft space) is the ideal spot for a family, friend-group, or even romantic vacation. Two ocean-front bedrooms boast king beds, while the third bedroom has two individual beds which can be combined for a third-king. All three bedrooms offer AC and full-ensuite bathrooms.
The space
Right off of the famous Los Muertos Beach in Zona Romantica, this spectacular three-level penthouse apartment has amazing ocean views and offers 24-hour security/front desk service. The 2500 square foot suite effortlessly accommodates 3 couples (and even a 4th couple in the loft bedroom) or two separate families. Long hallways to the bedrooms provide a buffer from the main living areas and the cathedral ceilings add to the spacious and open floor plan. A fully equiped kitchen, washer and dryer, cable TV and strong WIFI are provided.
In addition to the three main-floor bedrooms, there is an additional loft bedroom which can sleep 1-2 people and has a full-sized bed. It is located on the second floor of the condo as you ascend the spiral staircase to the private rooftop pool. Please note the loft bedroom does not have A/C and has a ceiling height of only 2m/6 feet.
The rooftop sundeck with plunge pool and chaise lounges is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the stunning 360 views of the ocean, mountains and Old Town. The rooftop terrace and sundeck is for the exclusive use of this condo! Please note that the pool gets plenty of sun but is not heated....depending on the season it will be warm or fresh and invigorating!
There is no AC in the common areas or the loft (4th) bedroom and if you are planning to rent a car, street parking is free, but can be limited in the area. You may need to walk several blocks.

Located on the 7th floor of the Playa Bonita condominium complex, a 26-unit private building which has an elevator and for the enjoyment of registered guests, there is a large heated swimming pool and common sundeck located off the main lobby. You can also relax under the exclusive palapas and umbrellas on the building`s private beach area right in front of the building.
Casa Dorothy is right in the heart of Zona Romantica. There are many restaurants, shops, hotels and clubs located within a 5-10 minute walk and convenience stores are located within a 2 minute walk. A taxi stand is located adjacent to the building. If you are planning to take a cab, please agree on the price before you enter the car. There are fixed-rate fares in Puerto Vallarta...the rates are posted in the front lobby of the building.
Please be advised we will ask for a list of all guest`s full names prior to arrival to be provided to the front desk prior to check-in.
The building also requires `quiet time` start at 10pm and no loud music or noise after this time as many units have owners living in them.

Everything was a delight about this experience. The agent was responsive to emails. The check in process was smooth. The condo was what we expected based on information and pictures in the listing. Having the private beach is wonderful as the beaches are really crowded around here. The rooftop deck and two balconies made it a perfect morning coffee retreat or an evening sunset cocktail. WiFi in the unit is good which is important when traveling with teens. The condo had soaps, shampoos, conditioners, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and drinking water. You can walk to everything and there are many places to shop, eat, atms, markets, etc. We look forward to another stay here.

Great location and nice building, felt secure. Good communication with the host for check in. Comfortable for our family of 5, loved the rooftop plunge pool and views. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
