Private apartment in Civitavecchia

The apartment was very clean. The owners (husband and wife) went out of their way to help us out. They arranged for a transfer from the Rome airport at a very reasonable rate. Dropped us off at the cruise port when we were leaving. Responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had.

The property is a little off the beaten path - about a 7 minute walk to a pizza restaurant and other tourist accommodations. Also, there was a barking dog in a nearby property that interfered with our sleep.

The host was so kind and helpful. He went out of his way to drive us to the city and also hand delivered us to the port to pick up the ship. Location was very convenient to everything. I highly recommend that if you’re looking for a place to stay before your cruise this would be a perfect choice.

Apartment was a little difficult to find. Be sure to arrive before dark.

Quaint

We arrived early - I mistakenly thought this was a hotel - so surprised to find it was a rental apartment. The Uber driver was a great help in making contact - especially since I don't speak Italian. The owner was quick to respond and get us in and settled. When we were ready to leave the next day the owner was super helpful in helping to arrange a ride to the train station.

Location is on a crowded street and doesn't have easy access for meals, public transit, etc.

Location is convenient for walking to town. No noise at night - good for sleeping.

Mattress needs to be replaced. The television is the size of a postage stamp. The kitchen needs to be much better stocked: e.g. a kettle for heating water and a toaster.

Exceptional service with a caring host who rescued my forgotten items before my cruise departed.

I absolutely loved the service at this place! The host provides a convenient shuttle service from the station, which was extremely helpful with my large luggage (additional fee applies). The recommendations provided were excellent. Whenever I had questions or problems, I could always ask for assistance and received great help. Most impressively, when I forgot my belongings after I had already boarded the cruise ship, they were able to bring them back to me just in time before departure. The host's attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond made my stay truly memorable.

Close to port, clean and comfortable!

Eclectic decor, everything as advertised. Spacious and clean.

Our arrival was at night and property was very difficult to find. Even w Google maps we didn’t realize door was hidden in an alleyway. Also, some guidance on where to go to eat for late night arrivals. Assuming most people will be taking a cruise it is best to walk to the entrance to the cruise port (3 blocks to left) and your ship will bus you. Cabs were expensive. Bus was free.

Das Appartment ist sehr schön und sehr sauber und die Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir wussten nicht, dass das Frühstück im Zimmer eingenommen wird, aber es ist ja auch kein Hotel 😊. Brötchen und Käse hätten wir gut gefunden, das liegt aber wahrscheinlich daran, dass wir Deutsche sind. 😊

Está información no es correcta Tuvimos que ir con un perro de tamaño mediano y pagamos 10€ por la estancia del perro Si es cierto que cuando le avisé que llevaba perro ya me advirtió que tendría que pagar y me dio la opción de buscar otro apartamento No era mi intención no pagar, pero no me parece correcto que no sea cierto lo que pone en booking Hay que recordar que en el precio no está incluida la tasa turística que son 3€ por persona y noche en este momento

Lejligheden ligger perfekt, hvis man skal på cruise fra Civitavecchia - ligger i gå-afstand

Lejligheden var virkelig flot. Værten svarede straks tilbage og tilbød at komme, da der var problemer med at logge på internettet.

Morgenmaden var meget skuffende. Men dette er nok tildels booking.com's skyld, idet der på intet tidspunkt er gjort opmærksom på, at det ikke er et hotelværelse man lejer, men en privat lejlighed efter airBnB konceptet. Dette bør gøres tydeligere for at undgå misforståelser. Jeg troede, jeg havde booket et hotelværelse med morgenmad - derfor skuffelsen over, at der er sat plastik-indpakket kiks og "danish" frem.
