Newly Remodeled Home in Storm Lake w/ Private Yard

The house was in a good location for our purposes. It is nicely remodeled and was clean.

We had an issue when we arrived with the thermostat. It was not working so we could not set it for the temperature we needed. Attempted to contact the contact person (owner?) numerous ways with no response. Called Evolve and was told I would get a call back which never happened. We ended up fixing the thermostat ourselves. In addition, after suffering in very warm bedrooms the first night, we realized the a/c vents were floor level behind the head of the beds (plus they were closed), making air flow next to nothing. Even after we opened the vents, the rooms stayed quite warm. Luckily, it was not overly hot during the days (low to mid 80s).
