Lovina Haven Boutique Resort

The resort is surrounded by beautifully established tropical gardens, creating a lush and tranquil setting. My oceanfront room was light, spacious and modern, with a lovely bathtub. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were always attentive and happy to service the room. The senior service and hospitality staff were particularly kind, welcoming and helpful, making the stay feel even more enjoyable. The buffet breakfast offered a wonderful variety of options to suit different tastes and preferences, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Easy to walk to local shops, restaurants and boardwalk beach.

One area that could be improved is the condition of the floorboards around the restaurant and pool area. Several boards were lifting, creating uneven edges, exposed nails and unexpected steps, which could pose a trip or injury risk for guests. There are freaky dolphins scattered around the grounds and pool. The rooms would also benefit from full-length mirrors. Currently, there is only a small mirror above the bathroom basin, and the lighting in this area is quite dark, making it difficult to see clearly. The resort receives many large tour groups for short stays.

Great location for a quiet relaxing stay. All the staff were very polite and more than happy to help. The gardens are beautiful, and are well kept by the staff. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and offered so many different dishes. We met Chef Jesni on a few occasions and he was so lovely. The restaurant staff were great to deal with and April always gave us great service.

The only negative, the pool chairs often had towels on the sun lounges with nobody swimming, but the restaurant close by was full of lunchtime diners. Leaving no sun beds available.

This is the most wonderful place we have stayed in Bali due to the combination of the location, facilities (private pool) and the friendliness of all staff. We loved our cooking class and looked forward to our complimentary afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They remembered our names, preferences and made us feel welcome and special.

Our room was perfect.

It’s clean but it’s not really worth the money

Their dolphin tours are too aggressive. They chase the dolphins and do not keep a distance. There are like 200 boats at a time. It was horrid. Granted this is not from the hotel but they definitely support it by helping you book it.
